I agree, it should work. Clever, but that requires a working machine.

View August 12, After Installing the Windows XP on my Optiplex ,there are 5 unidentified devices listed in device manager. Helped to get eSata working in Windows XP.

And will it bring the Blue Screen in Future? Your instructions worked great, both for the main drive, dvd and eSATA.
